Especially, we focus on the active participation of peers in the P2P traffic control unlike most exiting work overlooking what the peers could contribute. After that, this dissertation discusses the collaboration between BitTorrent swarms for efficient content distribution in BitTorrent. Collaborating swarms support temporal caching storage for the counterpart swarm so that the counterpart swarm can continue to share the content under the content unavailability problem. 156 pp. Englisch<
