For the European Championships in 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, the offices have again partnered to design and realise two new stadia in Warsaw and Kiev that, along with their design for the new arena in Bucharest, represent the state of the art of stadium design. This book tells the stories of the three cities and their stadia and presents the architecture of the new sporting arenas that now provide the Eastern European Football Associations with venues of the highest international standard.

Von gmp Architekten und den Ingenieuren schlaich bergermann und partner gebaute Arenen sind weltweit Schauplatz hochkarätigster Sportereignisse, sei es in Deutschland, Südafrika, Brasilien, China oder Indien. Für die Fußballeuropameisterschaft 2012 in Polen und in der Ukraine haben sie in bewährter Partnerschaft zwei neue Stadien in Warschau und in Kiew geplant und realisiert, die zusammen mit ihrem neuen Stadion in Bukarest den state of the art im Sportstättenbau verkörpern. Das Buch erzählt die Geschichten um diese drei Städte und ihre Stadien und stellt die Architektur der neuen Arenen vor, mit denen die osteuropäischen Fußballverbände Spielstätten auf höchstem internationalem Niveau zur Verfügung haben.
