The development of open-air sports is apprehended in an historical point of view, as well as through the ways of practising. The communications display the political, economical, social and environmental stakes, connected with sporting tourism. They emphasize the perception of Nature conveyed amongst sportsmen. They point up their influence upon the approach to health and to the relationships between sexes, which induce the ways of training, as well as practising.
